Reviews
Room carpet, pillows, couch smelled of pet all over and did not find it hygienic enough. It should have mentioned on their advertisements that it's a pet friendly hotel so that people can choose to stay or not. Staffs were very friendly and courteous, and the location was great. The beach and park in front of the hotel has multiple signs for NO PETS ALLOWED, just and FYI if you decide to bring your fury friends along. Shower was not clean but has essential amenities including washing machine and dryer.
The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with some essentials.
Cleanliness wasn't great. The bathroom smelled bad as if the floors had not been …
We enjoyed a great night on the coastline. A massive room for 3 of us with all the amenities you need to cook, wash and relax ! …
Great location and very spacious room. Beds are comfortable although a bit on the soft side for us. Great amenities with washing machine and dryer in room and free liquid too!.
Loved the fact we could pick up our own refills of tea, coffee, milk and other needs for free from the front office.
Stayed here and LOVED IT! They offer towels in the lobby to go to the beach which helped out!
The small kitchen was great!
Only two things is we were given a handicapped room which I don't know why? I felt horrible if someone booked and they actually needed it...
And they didn't change sheets or towels at all while we were there? I am not sure if that's a normal eco thing which if it is great! We didn't mind to much as we were only there 2 nights, but if we were staying longer I would be confused?
THE VIEW 10/10. Hearing the waves at night was amazing and the double open doors *chefs kiss*
Staff was extremely friendly and I WILL be going back. Def would recommend!

Brilliant location and view from the ocean view rooms. Across a small road from a park and the beach. Spacious room and balcony with plenty of coffee and tea supplies. Beds were a bit soft for my liking but will be fine for others. Beach towels are supplied and there is some undercover parking which was appreciated when a thunderstorm hit.
We were hoping that with the reputation of the Abode, our experience would be relaxing, welcoming, and clean. When we walked in, the person at reception didn't even say hello. When we checked in, they were unfriendly and did not speak to us. We had this experience a second time with the same person we said hello directly to them, and they ignored us. The room, despite us being informed it had just been cleaned, was disappointing. We had to cover furniture in a blanket to sit on it and see more photos. The saving grace was the location and the friendly, helpful staff and patrons at the local takeaway. We had been welcomed and talked too, and that just made the difference. There was a balcony, and we saw large lizards and birds from there. And we spent time at the beach across the road, which made the trip worth it. We would not stay again. We paid $548.00 for one night.
The location is lovely, if a little limited in amenities. Being pet friendly is great, it was nice to see lots of dogs around on our holiday. Beds were beautifully comfortable. The mould on the shower shelf and dust caked vent in the bathroom were a bit offputting. Also these showers really need a screen door. The undercover parking spaces are way too tight for people removing luggage from cars.
The reception staff had strange snarky attitudes and made weird comments.
Overall, not an awful place but a lot to be desired.
